This is really my favorite nice cream!
Why? Because nicecream in combination with Pink Pitaya Powder is simply a heavenly combination!
The combination of frozen ripe bananas and a tablespoon of Pink Pitaya Powder makes it super sweet. That is something different from the compulsory fruit snacks that your mother used to make you eat.
Have fun with the recipe!
Ingredients:
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 tablespoon Pink Pitaya Powder from Fenitas
- 100 grams of frozen mango
- 200 ml vegetable yogurt
Step 1:
Bring home two bananas. Leave these in your cupboard for a while, until they start to turn brown on the outside. The moment you think; I normally wouldn't eat this one so quickly, it's the perfect banana for nicecream. The riper the banana is, the sweeter the taste and the creamier the nice cream will be.
Cut the two bananas into slices one day before you are going to make the nice cream, put them in a plastic bag and freeze them.
Step 2:
When you want to make the nice cream, take the frozen banana out of the freezer. Make sure you separate all the pieces so you don't put one big block of frozen banana in the blender. You can simply buy the frozen mango at Jumbo or Albert Heijn.
Step 3:
Put the banana pieces and the mango in the blender. Add yoghurt and one tablespoon of Pink Pitaya Powder. Make sure you have a blender with a power of at least 1000W. Otherwise it will be difficult to grind the frozen ingredients.
Step 4:
Turn on the blender. Stop it occasionally to stir the ingredients and push them towards the blades with a spoon. It may take a while to get a creamy mixture. When all the pieces are gone, you've made your own nicecream!
Step 5:
Put the nice cream in a cup, a coconut bowl or something else, and top it with banana, blueberries, oatmeal or other tasty toppings.
Step 6:
Enjoy!
